Santiago Tuxtla
- Good Friday. Silence procession with our “Señora de la Soledad”. A walk for the main streets of the town.
- June 24th. Day of San Juan. A religious procession with the “liseres” (men dressed of tigers).
- July 25th. Santiago Apostle. The fair begins on July 23, sport matches, culture, encounter of son jarocho.
- December 25th. Christmas festival, “fandangos”, “la rama”.
San Andres Tuxtla
- February 2nd. Celebrations of “La Candelaria”.
- 1st Friday of March. Wizards encounter. Mysticism and magic at the “Encantada” lagoon.
- Easter. People take a procession by the town streets till to the church of Santa Rosa de Lima to pray to the Dolorosa Virgin.
- September 15, 16 and 17th. Release of the aerostatic balloons. This tradition has give to the city a great rename, into the country and worldwide. People can see how the sky is painted with of aerostatic balloons, “ilamas” and “cruces” and many others figures and shapes passing over the look and the astonishment of the people and visitors.
- November 1st and 2nd. The Day of the dead. Altars, “fandango” and night guards in the town cemetery.
- November 29th and 30th. San Andres Apostle. The “aurora” and “mojiganga” parade, allegoric cars passing by the town. Fair. Cultural events and sports matches.
- December 7th and 8th. Day of La Concepcion. The aurora and mojiganga parade.
- December 11st and 12nd. Day of La Guadalupana. Aurora and mojiganga parade, son jarocho festival.
- December 24th. The Christmas Eve.
- December 25th to 31st. Begin the celebrations of “el Viejo” for the last year.
- December 31st. People celebrate the end of the year.
Catemaco
- 1st Friday of March. Encounter of the witches. Perform a Festival in the ecologic park of Nanciyaga.
- July 16th. The Day of Virgen del Carmen. There are fair and cultural events in the town.
- November 1st and 2nd. The Day of La Guadalupana. Parade of allegoric cars
