The city of San Andrés Tuxtla is situated in the center of the most beautiful region of the southeastern part of the country. It has a population of 150,000 inhabitants, its climate is hot averaging 28ºC and is 365 meters above sea level; its ecosystems that coexist are the tropical rain forest with coastal dunes and secondary vegetation. Its fauna consists of populations of armadillos, rabbits, tlacuaches, foxes, anteaters, spider monkeys and martens.

It is also possible for the visitors to take a close look at the hand-made cigar processing in the several cigar factories.
